HOUSING ADVOCACY GROUPS

Housing Independence: Provides opportunities for learning skills of independent living. Skilled trainers evaluate and help set goals for new skills in daily living. Services include those who are living with families and want to increase their involvement in the community to those whose goal is to live independently. Individuals whose goal is independent living will find support with a housing specialist to help contact landlords and get on multiple waiting lists for appropriate housing.
